My thoughts and prayers go out to the Giaquinto family. I was a student at the Norwood campus back in the late 70s. I will always remember his energy and passion. I enjoyed catching up with him from time to time. He helped me to become the person I am today. I will always remember that.

My friend and colleague,Joe G, Mr G,Joe,or just G........I will always remember Joe as a great teacher to his auto kids...his ability to communicate a work ethic to his students was admirable. Joe was deeply involved with giving his students a real working experience in his shop.. I will forever be grateful for his friendship and warmth when I first came to the Hackensack campus of Bergen Tech.I needed his help and he gave it freely. Joe G. will always be my friend. My prayers go to his family at this time. Be at rest, Joe, my friend.....Greg Walters

To his daughter Joey... please know that he always spoke of you.. I recall as a freshman In High school your father speak it of his love for his little girl. He allowed me to learn how to change oil and a tire when others would shy away... so sorry for the loss of your Dad but what an angel to greet us all later. God Bless.

I can't even begin to express my sincere condolences. I was in Mr G's second auto mechanics graduating class of 1986. Myself and Frank Frank Lee Thomas stayed at his home the night before the Plymouth trouble shooting contest that year. Mr. G was more than just a teacher to us...he was a friend. I continued to visit with him for a few years after graduation, but work and time got the better of me. I had always wondered what he was up to and now I wish that I tried harder to find him. (I didn't remember how to get back to the house). I owe much of my 25 year career with Mercedes Benz to Mr. G and will include him in my prayers and hope that his spirit will rest in peace.

My deepest condolences on the passing of "Mr G". He was my mentor as a high school senior and I've never forgotten what he taught me 35 years later. I was the first student he placed in the work force during his first year at Bergen Tech and I was fortunate to reconnect with him about 10 years ago when I started working at Franks GMC. He was very happy I was here, along with some other of his students that he liked to call "His kids". I'll always be grateful for knowing that man, and the wonderful memory of him will never leave me. Rest in Peace
