Gallo, Richard J., Sr., 80, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020.  Mr. Gallo was born in Paterson and moved to North Arlington where he met his wife, Linda.  They then moved to Lyndhurst where he spent the majority of his life later to retire in Toms River.  Throughout his life, he owned and operated Richie's Park Amoco, Meadowlands Auto Wreckers, and Middletown Scrap Iron.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his Sunday morning rides. 

Richard is predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Linda (nee Leon ) Gallo in 2017, by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Yolanda Gallo (nee Monica), by his brother Anthony Gallo, Jr., by his daughter, Vicki Gallo Morrill, and by his son Richie Gallo.  He is survived by his loving children, Debbie Gallo, Mario Gallo, Richard Gallo, Jr. and his wife, Wendy, Laura Crane and her husband, Jeff, Robert Gallo and his fiance, Jonelle Gonzalez, along with his cherished grandchildren, Vanessa and her fiance, Jamie Westwood,  Alyssa, & Brielle Perri, Samantha, Ava, Evan, Alexandra, Nicholas, Hunter & Lukas Gallo, Joanna & Anthony Crane, Gazella Calle, Jett Rodriguez, by his great granddaughter, Rainelle Westwood, and by his sister, Phyllis Carlough and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Private cremation and inurnment held under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 RIdge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.  Please express your condolences to Richard's family using our Tribute Wall.
