Obituary of Peter G. Clemente

Clemente, Peter G., 97, died on Thursday, April 30, 2020.  Mr. Clemente was born in New York and lived in Lyndhurst for over 40 years, before moving to Paramus.  Peter proudly served in the United States Airforce during World War II from 1943 - 1945.  Upon his honorable discharge, he worked as a truck driver for Preston Trucking in Jersey City for over 42 years.  Peter was also a member of the AMVETS Post 20 in Lyndhurst and was an avid Yankees fan.  He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Doris Clemente (nee Reddy) in 2013 and by his brothers and sisters, Nick, Frankie, Lenny, Lucy and Rosie.  Peter is survived by his loving children, Peter Clemente and his wife, Joan Ann and Michele Bray and her husband, Kenneth, by his cherished grandchildren, Shannon LoBue and her husband, Alex, Shane Bray and his wife, Maggie, and Shawn Bray and his girlfriend, Pam, by his great grandson, Dominic, and by many nieces and nephews.
