Obituary of Mary Ann Bauer

Bauer, Mary Ann (nee Fiedler), of Bayonne, died on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Mrs. Bauer was born in and lived most of her life in Jersey City and  was a resident of Bayonne since 2000. Mary had worked many years as a Secretary for the County of Hudson, Department of Family Services, Division of Welfare in Jersey City. She enjoyed bowling, baking, playing bingo, going to Atlantic City, celebrating St. Patricks’s Day and, most of all, spending time with her 5 granddaughters and great grandson. Mary Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Tom Bauer, by her loving daughters, Tracey Pfleging and her husband, Tommy,  and Kathy Murgittroyd and her husband, Joe, by her cherished granddaughters Kayla & Madison Pfleging and Erin, Kara & Ava Murgittroyd  and by her dear great grandson, Joshua Thomas Pfleging along with her dog that she loved with all of her heart, Penny.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church, 324 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst at 11AM.  Cremation Private. We ask for no flowers but donations in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
