Obituary of Katherine Troy

Troy, Katherine, 60, of Belleville, died on Friday, September 4, 2020. Katherine was born and raised in Jersey City, lived in Kearny for 30 years and has been a resident of Belleville for the past 5 years. Kathy is survived by her mother, Ann Nixon and her late father, Leonard Freeman, by her sons, Joseph P. Iorio and his wife, Clarice, Anthony Iorio and Peter Iorio and by her cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Aubriana and Diana. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, William and Robert Troy, James, Thomas and Eric Freeman, Darlene Scalamoni and the late Mary Ann Hand.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, September 11 at 9 AM then to Saint Michael's Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Cremation Private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online by clicking here.
