Obituary of Milan Novakovic

Novakovic, Milan, 79, of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, October 9, 2020.  Mr. Novakovic was born and raised in Yugoslavia before moving to the United States in 1969 where he settled in Queens, NY.  He lived in Lodi and was a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 15 years.  Milan worked as a garment industry technician for various factories.  He had a passion for sports and cherished spending time with his loving family.  Milan is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Nikoleta Novakovic (nee Penca) and their loving children, Sergio Novakovic and his wife, Jennifer, Snezana Pavsic and her husband, Danny, and Milan "Mickey" Novakovic, by his dear grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Ryan, Samantha, and Kaitlin, by his sister-in-law, Sofia Turkoane, by his nephew, Cornel Turkoane, and by many more nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitaiton at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, October 16 at 9 AM where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
