Plumley, Ronald Peter, 85, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  ‘Pete’, as he was known, was born in Bristol, England and raised not far from his birthplace in Clevedon.  He emigrated to the United States with his family in 1948, settling in Lyndhurst.  After graduating from Lyndhurst High School, Pete joined the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving from 1953 – 1957.  Upon his honorable discharge, he began working as a lineman for PSE&G in Hackensack, retiring in 1996.  Always a voracious reader, he continued to read, play golf and travel in retirement. Pete is predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne Plumley (nee Fay) in 2011 and by his brother, William G. Plumley.  He is survived by his loving daughters, Karen Plumley – Luepke and her husband, Ronald and Moira Clay and her husband, Douglas; by his cherished grandson, William Plumley Clay; and by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Funeral Services are private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Center for Food Action, Hackensack, NJ. (https://cfanj.org/)
