Obituary of Frank Reciniello

Reciniello, Francesco, 84, of Rutherford, died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at home surrounded by his wife and family.  Mr. Reciniello was born in Newark on July 29, 1936 to Jennie and Antonio Reciniello where he lived for 32 years.  He graduated from Barringer High School and The Brooklyn Barber School.  Frank proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 – 1960, stationed for a time in Schofenburg, Germany.  He moved to Rutherford in 1968 when he got married and was a resident there for 52 years.  After his honorable discharge from the Army, he opened his own business, Frank’s Barber Shop in Belleville, which he owned for 39 years.  He then worked as a security guard for Montclair State University and Troy Towers in Bloomfield, retiring in 2011.  He also taught catechism classes for over ten years at St. Mary’s Church and served on the Boy Scout Committee of Troop 168, both in Rutherford.  Frank is predeceased by his sisters, Lydia Grau (Richard) and Tomasina De Ioria (Anthony).  He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jacqueline Reciniello (nee Di Leo) and their loving sons, Joseph Reciniello and his wife, Sabryna and Matthew Reciniello, by his cherished grandchildren, Teresa, Francesco, Matteo, and Gerard Reciniello, and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.  Frank was an easygoing and sincerely happy person his whole life.  His many friends and family will remember him and miss him. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 2 – 4 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, December 21 at 9 AM then to St. Michael’s Church, Lyndhurst for a Holy Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.  Interment, Graceland Memorial Park, 1900 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth, NJ.  Please omit flowers and instead consider a donation to Missionaries of Charity, 335 East 145^th Street, Bronx, NY 10451.
