Galasso, Suzanne A. (nee Carbonaro), 81, died on Sunday, December 20, 2020.  Mrs. Galasso was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Bluffton, South Carolina in 2003.  She lived there for 17 years before moving to East Rutherford in November 2020.  She worked for Merrill Lynch in Manhattan,  Suzanne was a breast cancer survivor for over 25 years.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Paul Galasso, Jr. (April 30, 2003) and survived by their loving sons, Anthony and Joseph Galasso, by her grandchildren, Anthony, Ashley, Gianna, Jake, and Jared, by her step grandchildren, Amanda, Russell, and Michael, by her great grandchildren, Jayden, Jordyn, Leah, Paulie, and Ryleigh, by her step great grandson, Tyler, by her sisters, Stephanie Freeman and her husband, Joseph and Rachael Buonvolonta and her partner, Michele, by her sister-in-law, Johanna Galasso Repka and her husband, Joseph, by many nieces and nephews, and by her two friends in South Carolina, Rosemary and Maryanne.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 7 - 9 PM.  All will gather directly at St. Aedan's Church, 800 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City on Wednesday, December 30 for Suzanne's memorial mass at 10 AM.  Inurnment, Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, Suzanne's family requests donations be made in her memory to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 28 West 44th Street, Suite 609, New York, NY 10036 or to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
