Obituary of Marita Ann Carucci

Carucci, Marita A. (nee Downey) 63, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Mrs. Carucci was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 32 years. Marita gave her life�s work educating children as a Teacher at PS #11 school in Jersey City, retiring in June 2012 after 40 years, and most recently in the Lyndhurst area. Most of all, she devoted her life to her family, especially to her children and grandchildren, and had a deep Catholic faith. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Downey. Marita is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen P. Carucci, by her loving children, Stephen Carucci & his wife, Melissa, Mark Carucci & his wife, Rachael, Michael Carucci & his wife, Marilyn, and Lauren Carucci, and by her dear grandchildren, Isabella, Marco, Juliana, Valentina, and Mark Carucci, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM and Monday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to: St. Jude Children�s Research Hospital, P.O.
