Obituary of Adam Robert C. Mc

Mc Adam, Robert C., 85, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Mr. Mc Adam was born and raised in Union City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst since 1963. He was a WWII Navy Veteran who served 1945 to 1946. Robert was an Engineer for N.Y. Telephone Company for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Edwin Mc Adam in February 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Dolores T. (nee Kellenberger) Mc Adam, his loving children, Catherine Nigro, Monica Sancilio, Jennifer Yurcich, Donna Shoemaker, Robert, Mark, Thomas, Stephen, Edward, Paul, Charles, Richard and Laura Mc Adam, by his brother, Charles Mc Adam and sister Therese Gorman and by his dear 26 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Cremation Private. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Community Food Bank of NJ, 31 Evans Terminal, Hillside NJ 07205.
