Obituary of Pauline Gentile
Gentile, Pauline (nee Buono), 92, died on Friday, March 26, 2021. Mrs. Gentile was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Rutherford, Lyndhurst, and Belleville. She worked as a waitress for Park Pub in Nutley for 23 years, retiring in 1996. She was an excellent cook and baker, loved music, and cherished spending time with her family. Pauline was predeceased by her former husband, George Gentile in 1998 and by their sons, Thomas Gentile in 1984 and Daniel Nicoletti in 2018. She is survived by her loving children, Paulette Caputo and her husband, Ted and Georgeann Ventola and her husband, Samuel, by her daughter-in-law, Nora Nicoletti, by her brother, the late Ben Sparano and his wife, Kim, by her sister, the late Marie Francke and her late husband, Armond, by her special godchild and nephew, Armond Francke, by her grandchildren, Jason Ventola and his wife, Heather, Tara Ventola, Tommy Nicoletti (Susan), Nicholas Caputo and his wife, Andrea, Anthony Nicoletti and his wife, Nikki, and Regina Antipin and her husband, Patrick, and by her great grandchildren, Alanna, Milania, Tommy, Mia, Brynn, and Mason. We are very grateful to the staff at Parker Nursing Home for the wonderful loving care she received while living there for the last two years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 1 PM - 5 PM. All will gather at the funeral home on Monday, March 29 at 12 PM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 1 PM a funeral mass will be offered. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Please express your condolences to Pauline's family by using our Tribute Wall.
