Painter, Kathleen F. (nee Smith), 79, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Mrs. Painter was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 45 years.  Kathy was in band with the Jersey City Lassies and North Hudson Girls Fife & Drum where she would meet her future husband, Cliff. She had worked as an Aide for Sacred Heart Small Blessings of Lyndhurst for over 20 years.  Kathy is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Clifford A. Painter, by their loving children, Kevin T. Painter & his wife, Robin, Thomas C. Painter & his wife, Melissa, the late Patrick C. Painter in 1965, Jackie Moje and son-in-law, Chris Moje, both in 2014. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Michelle V. Moje, Kathlyn A. Painter, Alexandra F. Moje, Patrick T. Painter, Kellie A. Painter and Thomas C. Painter and by her dear brother, Robert J. Smith & his wife, Gloria.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 10 AM - 12:45 PM.  Then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 1 PM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Cremation Private.  In lieu of flowers, Kathy's family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Reseach Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142. Memphis TN 38148-0142. Please express your condolences to Kathy's family by using our Tribute Wall.
