Obituary of Joyce Scillieri

Joyce Scillieri 82, (nee Monisera), passed away on June 10, 2021. She was born in Lyndhurst to Thomas and Lena Monisera, and spent her entire life there, before moving to Tom’s River 2 years ago. She is predeceased by her husband John Scillieri. She is survived by her loving children Susan and Manny Barros, Robert Scillieri and Janice Scillieri, as well as her grandchildren, the loves of her life, Robert and Michael Scillieri and Gabriella Barros .A beautiful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, Joyce will always be in our hearts and the wonderful times spent together will always be a part of our memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Sunday, June 13, from 2-4 p.m. All will gather at Sacred Heart Church, 324 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, June 14, at 10 a.m. where a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Entombment will follow Mass in Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
