Obituary of Nicholas Della Valle

Della Valle, Nicholas, 93, of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.  Mr. Della Valle was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, lived in Belleville, and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 60 years.  Nicholas proudly served in the United States Army during World War II.  He worked as a bottler for Anheuser-Busch Company in Newark for 39 years, retiring in 1989.  Nicholas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Della Valle (nee Joaquin) in 2004 and is survived by his loving son, Anthony Della Valle and his wife, Emily, by his 8 dear grandchildren, by his sister, Santa Capers (Billy) and brother, Fred Della Valle.  Nicholas is also survived by his significant other, Pat Luzzi and her children, Billy Luzzi and the late, Michael Luzzi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 3 - 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, July 3 at 9 AM.  A funeral service will begin at 10 AM.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nicholas' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.  You may express your condolences to Nicholas' family by using our tribute wall.
