Obituary of Carlos E Quesada

Quesada, Carlos E., 54, died on Sunday, September 26, 2021.  Mr. Quesada was born in Costa Rica and came to New Jersey in the early 90's.  He lived in Jersey City from 2002 until 2018, when he moved to East Rutherford, where he has lived since.  Carlos was a cook to start and worked his way up to chef, working for almost 30 years in this service, recently the Assistant Food Service Director for The Bristal at Woodcliff Lake for the past 7 years.  Carlos is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Francine (nee Fucilli), by his cherished children, Giancarlo and Francesca, his mother, Ermida Blanco Quesada, his sisters, Lorena, Lena, Marjorie and Carmen Quesada, his father-in-law, Roger Fucilli, his brothers-in-law, Joseph Fucilli & his wife, Jillian and Simone Fucilli & his wife, Lisa and their families.  Carlos loved to cook, loved his family and his passing leaves a great void for all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, New Jersey on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Cremation is private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation for the care and concern of Carlos' children.  You may express condolensces to his family by using our tribute wall.
