Obituary of June R. Germinario

Germinario, June Rose (nee Amato), died on Monday, October 4, 2021.  ‘Rose of June’ was born in Hackensack, lived most of her life in Lyndhurst, and the past 23 years with her daughter in Wantage.  June worked for Country Girl Fashions and Penick Co., both of Lyndhurst, then as a Secretary for State Farm Insurance in Roseland for 10 years before retiring in 2002. She spent most of her time caring for the people in her life any way she could.  She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Frances (Mancuso) Amato, her beloved husband Salvatore, her cherished grandson, Brian Antico, her nephew, Raymond Bacek, and most recently by her sister, Jeanette Blevis.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Frances Antico & her husband, Vito; by her dear grandchildren, Laura and Mark Antico; by her great-grandson, Nikko; by her brother and sisters, Anthony Amato, Jr, Phyllis Bacek and Nancy (and Frank) Loviglio; her sister-in-law, Marge Amato, and by her nephews and nieces, their families, and all of her dear cousins and friends who made her laugh and filled her heart with joy.  Everything that made June Rose the beautiful person she is will reside in all of our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 9:30am.  Then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where a funeral mass will be offered at 11am.  Private Cremation.  Please express your condolences to June’s family by using our tribute wall.
