I am so sorry for your loss of this wonderful lady. When I worked at the bank in NA, Ida always came in and talked to me. She always held Josephine's hand. She was such a kind soul. Although I lost touch with her, I often thought of her. She was kind enough to come to church to see our daughter get married (in 2004). She remarked about the buttons down the back of the wedding dress and my daughter even today remembered this.My whole family knows who she is, just by my talking about her. I still have an envelope with a recipe and it is marked "Ida's meatballs" God rest her soul and give you all comfort knowing what a wonderful person she is.

Ida was a pillar in our Church, Calvary Assembly of God, in Jersey City for many years. She was a great example and Sunday School teacher for my daughter, too. We miss you but we know you are with The Lord.

My heart brakes for dear Ida. She was a darling woman and on fire for the Lord. Every time I saw her she wanted to speak Italian. She loved my cooking especially my Easter bread. Always loved being around her. Absent from the flesh, present with the Lord.
No matter how troubled the seas of life may become, hold on to the lifeboat of God’s love. A life will be saved because you trusted God for the impossible.
