Obituary of Marco Moriano

Moriano, Marco, 87 of Lyndhurst, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.  Mr. Moriano was born and raised in Manocalzati, Italy and moved to the United States in 1945 where he lived in Lyndhurst for over 70 years.  He opened Marco Fish Market on Valley Brook Avenue in Lyndhurst in 1966 and continued his business for 10 more years after relocating to Ridge Road.  He was also a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 560 and a member of the AMFriends Post 20 and Italian American Club, both of Lyndhurst and the Federation of Italian American Societies of NJ.  Marco is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Ellen R. Moriano (nee Honchar), by his loving children, LuAnn Moriano Vizzone and her husband, Gary, Gina Jinks and her husband, Ken, and Marlo Ricciardelli and her husband, Steven, and the late Mark Anthony Moriano (1965), by his cherished grandchildren, Alexa, Michael, Nicholas, Lola, Steven Marco, and Ciena, by the mother of his children, Lucy Moriano, by his brother, Mario Moriano, by his late sisters, Carmella Cefalo and Concetta Iannaccone, by his sister-in-law, Judy Schmalz and her husband, Bill, and by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2 - 6 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 5:30 PM.  Cremation will be private.  Please omit flowers and instead consider a donation in Marco's memory to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
