Obituary of Ellen Riordan

Riordan, Ellen "Eileen" M. (nee Pierce), of Lyndhurst and formerly of Castleisland, County Kerry, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family at home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John (2007) and loving mother to Michael (Geraldine), Ellen (Gerard) and Thomas (Maureen). Ellen was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church for many years, a lover of Irish music with a passion for Irish dancing, being well known in the Irish dance community with her daughter, Ellen. She will be sadly missed by her her children, grandchildren - Julia, John, Bridget and Owen, sisters - Kathleen & Joan, nephews, nieces, loving neighbors, extended family and by so many friends. The family appreciates all the help from Vitas Hospice and Bayada Home Health Care. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Friday, November 12 at 9 AM then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, Ellen's family requests you consider a donation to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
