Monaco, Frank "Nutchie," 88, died on Saturday, November 20, 2021.  Mr. Monaco was born and raised in Hoboken, the birthplace of Frank Sinatra whose music gave him comfort in his last few months.  Frank worked as a line lead for Maxwell House in Hoboken for many years and after retiring, continued to work as a crossing guard in Secaucus.  He enjoyed the Meadowlands Racetrack and the New York Giants and made the best Sicilian tomato, garlic, and onion salad.  Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine Monaco (nee Centino), by his daughter, Kathleen Reynolds, her husband Jerry, and their son, Aidan and by his son, James Monaco, his wife Vicki, and their children, James, Jr. and Victoria.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 9:30AM.  Funeral service begins at 11AM. Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, Frank's family requests donations be made in his memory to the Amedisys Foundation, 3854 American Way, Suite A Baton Rouge, LA 70816 or online by clicking here.  Frank's family kindly requests that everyone in attendance please wear a mask.
