Obituary of Patrick T McGrath

McGrath, Patrick, 51, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, December 4, 2021.  Mr. McGrath was born in Belleville and lived most of his life in Lyndhurst.  He worked as a shop steward for NYU Medical Center in New York for 20 years.  Patrick was a member of the American Legion Post 139 and The S.A.L., The Sons of the American Legion for over 20 years.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He belonged to the Echo Farms Hunting Club and enjoyed spending time with his hunting crew, The Wolf Pack.  Patrick was predeceased by his devoted parents, Patrick and Janina (nee Redzikowski) McGrath in 2016 and 2011, respectively.  He is survived by his loving sister, Karen Rochinski and her husband, Roger, by his nieces, Kelci Campbell and her husband, Ian and Sierra and Jordyn Rochinski, by his great nieces, Sophia and Charlotte, and by his cousins, the Waller, Masino, and Dargan families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 4 - 8 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Legion Post 139, 217 Webster Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. You may express your condolences to Patrick's family by using our tribute wall.
