Obituary of Anthony G. Rosania, Jr.

Rosania, Jr., Anthony G., 78, of Lyndhurst, died on Thursday, December 23, 2021.  Mr. Rosania was born and raised in Newark, lived in Whippany, and was a resident of Lyndhurst since 2004.  Anthony served on the Newark Police Department for 25 years, earning the rank of Sergeant.  He also worked for the Fair Lawn Police Department for a short time and for TR & Sons Trucking, his father's business who he worked alongside of.  Anthony was a range master, teaching people, specifically police trainees how to shoot and how to get certified.  As a police officer, he was a champion in shooting tournaments, displaying excellent accuracy.  Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Jennifer Rosania (nee Luu), by his loving children, Madeline and Serafina Rosania, Angelyna Reggiani and her husband, Brian, Marisa Rosania McCoy and her husband, David, Anthony Rosania III and his wife, Lori, and MaryJo Harvie and her husband, Daniel, by his 10 cherished grandchildren, by his brother, Raymond Rosania and his wife, Cathy and their two children, and by his sister, Annie Marie Mullarkey and her husband, Jim and their four children.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 6 - 8 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 7:30 PM.  Cremation will be private.  You may express your condolences to Anthony's family by using our tribute wall.
