Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Buckel
Elizabeth Ann Buckel, 79, Died on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Secaucus and Carteret. She worked in Kearny where she was a math teacher for the Kearny Board Education for over 30 years. She is predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Elizabeth Buckel (nee Lillis), her brothers Jerome Buckel and William Buckel and by her beloved companion, Robert Dominic. Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Charles Buckel and her loving nieces, Donna Hennessy, Lisa Rezzonico, Debi Wells, Kathy Sullivan and their
families. Saving the lives of dogs was her passion and she dedicated her life to enriching the lives of the many dogs she had in her care. Her friends knew her as someone who was always there to help.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Service begins at 11AM. Interment to follow. Please omit flowers and make a donation in Betty’s memory to FOWA Animal Rescue in Wayne, NJ. Condolences to her family can be made by using our tribute wall.
