Obituary of Angelo R. Stabile

Stabile, Angelo R., 93, of Rutherford, died on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Mr. Stabile was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Rutherford for the past 15 years. Angelo served in the US Army during the Korean War, 1951-1956. He worked for American Can Co. of Jersey City an a mechanic troubleshooter for 42 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the AmVets Post 20 of Lyndhurst and the VFW Post 6192 Twp. of Washington. Angelo was predeceased by his beloved wife of 26 years, Carmela M. (Russo) in 1981. He is survived by his devoted children, Judith A. Stabile and Robert Stabile, by his brother, Damiano " Dom" Stabile, sister in law Margaret "Betty" Stabile, Carmela's nephew, John Tamburo and by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 4 - 8PM.  All will gather at the funeral home starting 9AM then to St. Mary's Church, Rutherford where at 10:30AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, family requets donations in Angelo's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Please express condolences to Angelo's family by using our Tribute Wall.
