Obituary of Phyllis Ahlborn

Ahlborn, Phyllis (nee Bonelli), 89, died on Friday, February, 11, 2022 at home with her daughter by her side.  Phyllis was born in Lyndhurst and was proud to be a life long resident.  She started working at age 18 with National Community Bank in town, which became  Bank Of New York and retired at age 67, with a 50 year career in banking.  She is predeased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Harry Ahlborn in 2012 and her brother, the late Rocky Bonelli.  Phyllis is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Lou Goldy & her husband, David, by her dear grandson, Michael Goldy, and her brother, Joseph Bonelli & his wife, Judy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass held at Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, February 16. 2022 at 1PM.  Kindly arrive at church 12:45PM.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers, consider a donation in Phyllis' memory to the Alzheimer Association, 400 Morris Ave Suite 251, Denville, New Jersey 07834.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
