I got the pleasure to work with Harold and Sal back in 1980 when they had their office in Irvington, NJ..
I just wanted to say that working with both Harold and Sal was a pleasure. I can remember Sal telling stories about when he was in the Navy.
Sal was a very kind man who truly touched the lives of many.

My condolences to the entire Guzzo family. My prayers to out for Sal's soul and the family. May he rest in peace.
Sal was a special man whom I had to pleasure to know. I will always remember when, in the beginning of my career, I got to share his table in the AIA meetings along with other great architects who have also left this world. They were all one of kind and gentlemen whom I will never forget.

My deepest condolences to the Guzzo Family. Words are inadequate to describe the emotions at this time, however, I hope that Sal's loved ones are comforted by the wonderful memories of a lifetime shared by all. Sal had a delightful sense of humor and was a bright light not only to his family and loved ones, but to his work family, as well. My life is filled with grace, and working for Guzzo & Guzzo while Sal was leading the team with his son, Anthony, is something I will always treasure. Sal was generous with his time, knowledge and experience. I was born and raised in NYC but listening to Sal I learned so much about Lyndhurst, NJ during the depression and WWII. I listened avidly, imagining the vistas he was describing and picturing what life was like then.
He was a genuinely beautiful soul that I was fortunate to encounter in my lifetime. Safe passage to our eternal home, Sal. Thank you for your service to our nation, for your generosity, and for your friendship. Rest in Peace.
