Obituary of Grace Ryan

Ryan, Grace,(nee Spalluto), 96, died on Saturday, March 5, 2022.  Mrs. Ryan was born and raised in Lodi, lived in Lyndhurst for over 40 years, then Rockaway for 18 years, before moving back to Lyndhurst in 2021.  She worked for Western Electric in Kearny for 40 years before retiring.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael J. Ryan in 1991, by her son, Michael A. Ryan in 1983 and her sisters, Antoinette Kist and Vita Del Russo.  Grace is survived by her loving son, Robert M. Ryan & his fiance, Camille, by her adoring grandsons, Robert Ryan Jr., and Matthew J. Ryan, by her cherished sister, Linda Kearns, also by her loving companion, Dominck Caricato & his son, Paul and his wife, Rita and by her many nieces and nephews.  Grace "lived life", she was very passionate for her family and spending time with them, she loved to travel and loved to dance and she understood that life was fragile and lived accordingly, enjoying and experiencing all moments of her life and her absence will be missed by all us, who loved her.    

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 10AM -12:45PM.  Then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where a 1PM funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Grace's memory to American Cancer Society, 986 S. Springfield Avenue, NJ 07081 or cancer.org
