Obituary of Frances J. Epstein

Frances J. Epstein (nee McLaughlin) 89, died on Thursday, March 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Lyndhurst in 1966.  Throughout her life, she selflessly devoted herself to her children, and her beloved grandchildren. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and a firm believer that prayer can move all mountains, can heal all diseases, can fix broken hearts, but most of all, draw you closer to God. Though we deeply grieve her death, we find solace in knowing she is finally reunited with her loved ones & God.  Frances is predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel, loving sister Ann Montague, son Charles Kavanagh, and son-in-law Gary Pelle. She is survived by her loving children, MaryAnn, Hugh, Catherine, Bryan & Lisa, George & Beth. Her cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Rachael & Tony, Katie & Rob, Charles Robert, David, Elizabeth, Zach, Jake, Emily and Josh.  She is further survived by her daughter-in-law Betty Kaminski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 9 AM and then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Frances's family by using our tribute wall.
