Obituary of Dennis M. Kenny

Kenny, Dennis M., of Lyndhurst, died on Friday, March 18, 2022. Mr. Kenny was a life long resident of Lyndhurst. Dennis served in the US Navy from 1974 to 1977. He had worked as a Weighmaster for Bergen County Utilities Authority in North Arlington for several years. He stopped working when he was diagnosed with ALS, although determined to remain active and enjoy his life. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Rose (Clemente) Kenny and by his brother, Daniel Kenny. He is survived by his wife, Cathy (Roberts) Kenny, by his son, David Kenny, by his brother, Wayne Kenny and his wife, Patty and by his nieces and nephew, Tyler, Jenna and Jessica. Also survived by his aunt, Maryann Zimmerman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM  then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst where at 1 PM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dennis' memory to THE ALS ASSOCIATION GREATER NEW YORK CHAPTER 42 BROADWAY, SUITE 1724 NEW YORK, NY 10004 or at webgny.alsa.org.
