Obituary of Santos F. Mercado

Mercado, Santos F., 60, died on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at home.  Mr. Mercado was born in Lajas, Puerto Rico, raised and lived in Passaic and has lived in Lyndhurst, just this past year.  Santos worked as a Machinist in Passaic, for many years. His life's passion, outside of his wife and daughter, was fishing.  He loved anything and everything that had to do with fishing.  Santos is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Elizabeth (nee Correa), by his loving daughter, Marilyn & her husband, Christopher Yanoso.  He is also survived by his brother, Jose Mercado and his sister Lucinda Ramos.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiaition held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, May 21, 2022 starting at 9:30AM.  Funeral Service begins 11AM.  Cremation private.   You may express condolences by using our tribute wall.
