Firko, Evelyn "Ebby"(nee Davis) 89, of Lyndhurst, died on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Mrs. Firko was born and raised in Jersey City and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for over 50 years. She was a Manager for Verizon, Hackensack for 35 years, retiring in 1978. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley J. Firko in 2004. She is survived by her loving sister, Lillian Nest and by her brother and sister in laws, John & Bridget Firko, Edward Firko and Joseph & Silvia Firko. Also survived by her nieces and nephews, Christine, Lisa & Stephen Firko, Joan & Thomas Nugent, Edward & Rosalyn Nest, Joan & Robert Van Pelt and Lillian Reilly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 9 AM then to St. Michael's Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM
