Obituary of Nilda Esther Guerra

Guerra, Nilda Esther (nee Cruz Flores), 85, died on Sunday, August 7, 2022.  Niilda was born and raised in Sabano Grande, Puerto Rico, moving to the Bronx in the 1960s and then New York City where she has lived most her life.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edwin Guerra, Sr. in January 2016.  She is survived by her loving sons, Edwin Jr., Jose Guerra & his wife, Diane and Eduardo Guerra, by her dear grandchildren, Raphael, Raven and Ronin, her sister, Lillian Cruz and her family in Puerto Rico and her niece and nephew, Rosemary and Wilfredo Cruz. Nilda was an independent, loving,caring mother, abuela,sister and friend, who will be missed greatly.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 9:30am.  Funeral Service begins 10:30am.  Interment to follow, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.  You may express condolences to Nilda's family by using our tribute wall.
