Obituary of Sally Monaco

Monaco, Sally (nee Bongiorno), 95, of Lyndhurst, died on Saturday, September 3, 2022 surrounded by her family.  Mrs. Monaco was born in Lyndhurst where she was a lifelong resident.  She was the office manager for R.S. Knapp Company in Lyndhurst for 33 years, retiring in 1992.  She was a member of the Kingsland Lyndhurst AARP Chapter 4866 and the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors.  Sally was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony P. Monaco in 2003 and by her son in law, Anthony Marotti, Jr. in 2002. She is survived by her loving children, Marianne Giaritta and her husband, Buzz and Patricia Marotti, by her cherished grandchildren, Damon Giaritta and his wife, Joanne, Anne Colaiacovo and her husband, Brett, Patreece Koth and her husband, Michael, and Anthony Marotti III and his wife, Breanne, and by her dear great grandchildren, Michael, Luke, Dylan, Penelope, Henry, Jack, Amelia, Anthony, and Matthew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 4 - 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, September 8 at 9 AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10 AM a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sally's memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 11000 Memphis TN by clicking here.
