Fischer, Amelia B. (nee Parella)"Millie", 101, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Fischer was born and raised in Newark and has been a longtime resident of Lyndhurst. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ladies Auxillary of The Knights of Columbus #2396 of Lyndhurst. Amelia is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Fischer in 1987. She is survived by her sons, John Fischer & his wife, Nancy and Joseph Fischer Jr., & his wife, Suzanne, by her dear grandchildren, Meghan, Jonathan, Joseph, Keith and Scott Fischer and by two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 9AM then to St. Michael's Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
