Obituary of Maria Maldonado

Maldonado, Marie E., (nee Crespo), 83, died at her home on Monday, October 3, 2022.  "Maria" as she affectionately referred to herself, was born and raised in New York and moved to Rutherford to raise her family.  She lived in Lyndhurst for 45+ years.  Maria was a devoted Catholic, who loved her faith and was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Church.  She was devoted to her children, throughout their lives and loved her grandchildren very much.  Maria is survived by her loving children, Nancy Harrison and her husband, Oscar, Ralph Maldonado and his wife, Jana and James Maldonado, by her cherished grandchildren, Julian, Julia, Gabriel and Aiden.  Also survived by her sister, Nancy Torres-Cortes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11 am - 12:45 pm.  Then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 1 pm a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment, Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.  Please use the tribute wall to express condolences to Maria's family.
