Obituary of Glauco Tirone

Tirone, Glauco, "Charlie", 85, died on Monday, October 17, 2022.  Mr. Tirone was born in Manocalzati, Italy, immigrated to this country at age 15, living throughout Essex county, before moving to Kearny where he and his bride, Gina lived and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 44 years. Glauco was a Material Handler for Hoffman LaRoche, for 24 years before he retired. He was a member of the Liberty Social Club of Newark and he had a great love of Italian motor cars, in particular, Ferrari.  Glauco was a simple man who loved his family and enjoyed gardening and was very proud of his fig tree, which produced great fruit.  He is survived b his beloved wife of 59 years, Gina (nee Caruso), by his loving children, Sue McNamara & her husband, Tom and Emilio Tirone & his wife, Susana, by his dear grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Melissa, Jessica and Priscilla, by his brother in laws, Dominic Caruso Elena), Angelo Caruso (Helen) and sister-in-law, Maria Kearney and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 4 to 8 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, October 20 at 9AM.  Funeral Service begins at 10AM.  Entombment to follow, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Glauco's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
