Rich was a wonderful friend and partner. Though we only worked together for a few short years his warmth and kindness made it feel like we had known each other for so much longer.
He always took such an interest in everyone else, in knowing how they and their family was doing, and in sharing his love for life.
Jackie and Lenore, I'm sending all my love and wishes for healing to you and to all of his family and friends.
Rest easy my friend. You are missed.

Rich was a childhood friend of mine as we grew up across the street from each other on 47th avenue in Long Island City I will always remember his great laugh and his kindness. Every time we saw each other he greeted me with a bear hug and that was probably once a year when we bumped into each other at Manetta's Restaurant.
I know that he enjoyed life and he was truly a kind gentleman. Very sad to hear this news.
