Cerone, Cynthia "Cindy," 61, of Wallington, died on Monday, November 14, 2022.  Ms. Cerone was born in Belleville, raised in Nutley, and was a resident of Wallington for the past 25 years.  Cynthia worked as a sales associate with the Metlife Stadium box office and accounts receivable department.  She worked many Giants and Jets games as well as concerts that were held there, which she thoroughly enjoyed as a fan of music, especially Bruce Springsteen.  Cindy was a valued employee, receiving Employee of the Year on multiple occasions and being invited on the field during football games to be presented with awards related to her work.  Her years at Metlife Stadium were about more than just work though, as she formed lifelong friendships during her time there.  Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph Joseph and Ruth Jean (nee Williams) Cerone and by her brothers, John "Jack" Randle Cerone and Ronald James Cerone.  She is survived by her loving sister and brothers, Susan Patricia Cerone, Rudy Joseph Cerone and his wife, Marie Perret, and Robert David Cerone, by her nieces and nephews, Rita Maria, Russell Joseph, Morgan L., and Alexander R. Cerone, and by her great nephew and niece, John Mason and Piper Elizabeth Reed.
