Obituary of Michael D. Schifano

Schifano, Michael D., 80, died on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Michael was born in Jersey City and has lived in Lyndhurst for most of his life.  He was a Respiratory Therapist at Clara Maas Medical Center for many years retiring in 2007.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Jeanne (nee Iafrate), by his loving children, Holly Terranova & her husband, Michael and Michael Schifano and his wife, Kelly, by his dear grandchildren, Katelyn, Abigail, Alexis and  Mia and by a host of nieces nephews and cousins.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3 to 7 PM.  All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday, December 1st at 9am, then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10am a funeral Mass will be offered.  Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  You may express condolences to Michael's family by using our tribute wall.
