Josephine Chiarella, 85 passed away on Saturday, January 7 2023. She was born in Jersey City and later moved to Lyndhurst where she lived most of her life. Jospehine worked at American Insurance in Newark for many years. She is the daughter of the late Samuel and Christine Chiarella. She was predeceased by her brother in law John C Ruggier and her niece Michele Ruggier. Josephine is survived by her loving sister Rosemary Ruggier, her nephews John Ruggier and Sam Ruggier and his wife Karen and her niece Rosemary Marranzino and her husband Paul. Josephine is the great aunt of 9 nieces and nephews and has many cousins and friends. Josephine is also survived by her extended family Laura, Joseph and Alexandra Tramutolo and their children. Joseph and his family have brought so much joy and happiness into Josephine's life. Josephine will always be remembered and sorely missed. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 11am to 1pm.  Then to Sacred Heart Church, Lyndhurst, where at 1pm a funeral mass will be offered.  Interment to follow, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jospehine's memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis TN      38148. Please express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
