Obituary of Richard Cornelius

Cornelius, Richard, 75 of Oakland, died on Sunday, January 22, 2023.  Mr. Cornelius was born in Recklinghausen, Germany and in 1956, the family moved to the United States.  He eventually settled in Secaucus, NJ.  He was a warehouse supervisor for Accredited Lock Supply in Secaucus for many years.   He had a passion for reading and loved fishing.  Richard was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Irma (nee Oksas) Cornelius and is survived by his sister, Karen Shaer and her husband, Steven, by his brother, Bernhard Cornelius and his wife Suzanne, and by his niece Erica Cornelius and nephew Jason Cornelius.

Private cremation is under the direction of Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ.  You may express your condolences to Richard’s family by using our tribute wall.
