Alan J. Danese passed away peacefully on January 17th surrounded by his family.  His loss was preceded by a valiant battle with prostate cancer.  Alan was born in Jersey City and resided in the Greenville Section until the late 1980's when he moved to Plantation, Florida.  Possessing a determined and entrepreneurial spirit, Alan was a hard worker who retired as an owner-operator with FedEx.  He was a devoted son and was predeceased by his parents, James and Marie Danese.  He leaves behind his brother, Thomas and sister-in-law, Lydia Danese of Verona, nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Frank, Justin, and Katherine as well as many loving cousins and dear friends.

A Memorial Service to honor Alan will be held at Nazare Memorial Home, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2 - 4 PM.  Remembrances on his Tribute Wall are welcome in lieu of flowers.  Gifts in his name may also be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
