It has taken me a while to come to grips with the loss of Kristine. When my fur baby Diesel goes to the window daily around 1pm, I know he’s looking for her and my heart breaks again.
I know my family’s heartache and pain does not compare to the pain felt by the Violante family and all of her friends. We are sending our heartfelt condolences to you all. Kristine was a bright light and we trust she’s shining that light over all of her loved ones.

Although I only knew Kristine for a relatively short time, her love, gentle demeanor and tenderness toward her grandmother was beautiful to see. Whenever her mother told me something about Kristine her face would just light up with all the love and pride she had for her beautiful daughter.

Although we never met her in person, Connie always spoke about her love as a mom for Kristine. Being fellow adoptive parents, we know how special she was in Connie’s heart.

Kristine, I can’t believe that your gone. You were one of the sweetest and kind hearted people I know. Anytime you would see a dog you would get so excited and run to it to see if you can give it cuddles. Thanks for all the good memories and for getting me obsessed with Taylor swift (along with Melissa) by forcing me to listen to her on the 4 hour trips to salem. My deepest condolences to your family — you will be truly missed

Blessings and peace to Kristine’s family at this sad time and great loss. My dog Indigo and I loved Kristine. There was no worry when she took care of my darling pet. God blessed those who knew Kristine with a beautiful angel. Now she is forever an angel who will be missed but remembered always. Thank you for being a presence in our lives. Ever grateful for you! I had the fortune of being friends with Kristine since high school. She was a positive person to be around that always knew how to make someone smile. I remember feeling a little homesick when I moved away to college. Kristine made the 1-2 hour drive to visit me a few times. It was so nice having a piece of home with me for even just a day, especially someone as kind and caring as Kristine. We always had so much fun together and it was almost certain that at one point we’d laugh so hard we’d cry. She was a shining light, a true Angel on earth. I am going to miss her dearly.

My fiancé and I are shocked and incredibly saddened by Kristine’s sudden passing. Kristine cared for our cat, Leo, for the past couple of years and we took comfort in knowing Leo was in such great hands while we were away. Leo is very skittish with new people, but he loved Kristine and would just melt at her touch (see the photos above that she sent us from her visits). I remember about a year ago Leo was having some medical issues and knowing she was a vet tech and cat mom herself, I reached out to Kristine for advice. She was so helpful and kind, and continued to check in to see how Leo was doing afterwards. And at the end of every visit, she always checked in to make sure we made it home to him, which warmed my heart because I felt like she really cared. We will miss her a lot, and Leo will miss visits from his “friend” Kristine when we go away. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends on such an immense loss.

It was always hard for me to find a dog walker that both I and my dog trusted and when we met Kristine I finally thought - someone I could trust! She loved my dog as if he was her own and she the sweetest, kindest and most reliable person.
Whenever I was away I could trust that my dog was safe, happy and well taken care of. From taking model like photos of him, to making sure he was watching his favorite safe show after she would leave him, she gave him personalized care that I will be forever grateful for.
After moving out of the neighborhood a few weeks ago, one of my last conversations with her was telling her how sad we were and that we would NEVER find another dog walker like her. She was an inspiring one woman show and rockstar business woman. We will miss her dearly. We wish her family and close friends nothing but love and happiness moving forward.

We are so sorry to hear of Kristine’s passing. She has walked of our fur baby Finn since 2017 and she always made us feel he was her own dog. He will miss seeing her so much. We are so lucky to have met her, and to have had her care and love our Finn as much as she did. Our prayers are with her family and friends during this very difficult time.
I’m sure she had a very warm and loving welcome from past fur friends on the other side <3

I only had the privilege of knowing Kristine almost 2 years when I moved into our house, she was on the 3rd floor and I’m on the first. My first thought when we met was what a sweet beautiful young girl. Having 2 daughters, my first thought was how proud her Mom must be. Over the short time of our friendship, because we both had the same pet business’ one of many coincidences besides our last names being similar (mine is Vigilante) We helped each other with our pets, professionally covered each other’s clients and just loved chatting about our love of animals. I was so happy I gave her one of my cat trees for Opie when I moved in and had too many. I loved teasing her about the amount of toys Jaxon had. I initially saw her kindness and love for the stray cat CeCe who now belongs to our landlord’s niece. Cece loved Kristine as did every single person that met her. She exuded light, love and warmth. She will be with us differently now and will remember and love her always. My most heartfelt condolences to all that loved her. It takes a village and hers was plentiful and amazing.

How does a person that you've recently met have such impact in your life? In the short month and a half I've known her I knew Pepsi, my dog and I were blessed to have her in our lives and I'm still in such shock to hear about her untimely passing. I'm deeply saddened by this and I want to extend my deepest condolences to her family, her fur companions and friends. May you all find the strength to go on without her and be able to spread the love you had for her in other ways that honors her memory.
We will greatly miss you Kristine, may you rest in peace.

Kristine was my other half and with 27 years of memories I can’t think of just one. They are constantly playing on a loop now. She was my therapist, my voice of reason, my soulmate, my children’s best friend. One of our first memories was having our seats separated in kindergarten because we talked too much to each other. We also had a little pet caterpillar (named Sunshine) we found outside when we were little that I think we kept for a whole week. When I was going through something last year, she dropped off an anonymous basket with self care and positivity things in it, but my son caught her from the window running away like a ninja and her and I laughed at the doorbell video of her trying to be incognito. She was so selfless and loving. I never thought we’d have to leave each other’s side. She believed that this was not the end and there was so much more after we leave here. I will cherish her forever and honor her memory every day.

Kristine, you will never be forgotten. I will miss you very much. You have impacted the lives of soo many people with your smile and presence. I will continue to remember you as you were, full of joy and spontaneity—these few moments from back in the day. I will look back on them whenever I think of you, all the shows, the late nights, and the adventures in my red Volkswagon Jetta.
Rest in paradise, sweet soul.<3

It’s hard to put into words what Kristine meant to me. I’ll forever cherish growing up with a cousin that was also a built in best friend.
I can’t say that I have a favorite memory with her because the memories that we created are endless.
I’ve always looked up to my big cousin. Growing up in the same small town, we did everything together and I always wanted to be just like her. if Kristine wanted to do something I was right behind her. From Girl Scouts to gymnastics, cheerleading and piano lessons, I would only want to try something new if Kristine was doing it too.
She was my comfort and even as an adult, I turned to her for everything. I don’t know who I’ll call when I have good news or when the slightest thing inconveniences my day but I know she will continue to guide me through life. She cared so deeply for everyone around her, I think we all need to remember that she will always be with us all.
