Obituary of Patricia Nidowicz

Nidowicz, Patricia, 78, of Delaware, formerly of Jersey City, died on Friday, March 31, 2023, with her husband, daughter and sister at her side.  Patricia was born and raised in Jersey City, living her entire life there, and these past 11 years in Delaware.  She was a Charity Care Manager at Jersey City Medical Center for many years before retiring in 2012.  Patricia was an amazing person, always caring for others, foregoing herself before others, even in her last weeks, concerned about her caregivers' wellbeing.  Her strong will and love for family will always be remembered and she will be missed so much by all who love her.  Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Joseph Nidowicz, by her loving daughter Christine Donnelly & her husband Kevin, and her loving sons, Charles, David, and Michael Schmidt, by her dear grandchildren, by her dear sister, Lucille Ross and brother-in-law, John Ross and by her brother, Peter Silerto and sister-in-law, Jerry Silerto and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 3-7 PM.  Memorial service begins 6:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in Patricia's memory to the American Cancer Society.  You may express condolences to her family by using our tribute wall.
