Q: What will you miss most about Rosemary?
A: I miss everything about my mom, sure need a stern simple solution with no sugar coat. I miss our relationship only a mother and son can have. Miss my mom always,always there trying to hint the solution to a problem ya had, then just s bluntly telling. Our morning,afternoons , midnight s cups of coffee and smokes . With dad. I miss my mom just telling me just whatcha need to do. No beating around bush. I miss the discipline believe it it not. Just miss everything my mom stood for. Family, honor , loyalty, working things out verbally even if it meant screaming it out. My moms cooking def. And really just watching her and my dad enjoying life ,watching, hanging around with all the grandchildren and the love she had for all of them individual and was special. It's October 22 2024 a little more the a week from my mom's birthday in the 31 holloween. I just wanted mom to know I miss seeing her everyday for coffee and a smoke and conversation with both my mom and mom and dad and dad. Best of the worlds. So I hope you resting in piece and looking out for Luann, billy,Jane and all the other great ones. Love ya mom. Miss ya to death.

The memories are countless in the early part of the 90's decade. Back then was in a relationship with Rosemary's daughter, Mary Ellen. Mary and I were both EMT's helping those who were sick and injured, and we both volunteered at the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad. Rosemary, along with her husband, Bart accepted me as they were both stern with their Irish background. It took some time for them to warm up to me, but I was determined, as I loved their daughter and granddaughter, Katie. When I came over, Rosemary and I chatted over coffee in her kitchen, and over time, I met her entire family just being at their home. I partook in many of the McLaughlin Family functions. One particular memory was being apart of their Sea Bright vacations. Bart's boat, the cook-outs, and Sea Bright sunsets to name a few. Although, my relationship with Mary came to and end, we both remained close, and all reunited on a few occasions years after. Rosemary was employed at Bergen Pines, where I would occasionally arrive with an ambulance patient for treatment. She always greeted me with her smile that made my day. Rosemary worked along side with her daughter, Rosie "Ro-Ro" at the Pines.
I recently chatted with Mary, and she returned back from Florida to care for her mother, as she informed me that her health has taken a turn. I have a heavy heart to learn of Rosemary's passing, and give my heartfelt condolences to Mary, her bothers and sisters, and the grandchildren that I have met of Rosemary.
