I met Anita from joining the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad back in 1994. Anita was my crew chief on Thursday evenings during my four year tenure as a volunteer EMT. The memories run deep… the calls, the events… and most of all, the laughs. Anita was big on Birthdays, and when I left Lyndhurst, she always called to wish me a Happy Birthday, and bring me up to speed on the local news.
Anita was the best. She took care of many, and gave countless hours of her time to the Township of Lyndhurst. I have a heavy heart that she has passed, and I will never forget her, and the memories we made.

Anita,
Anita and I met while volunteering at Lyndhurst EMS. We had some great times there and at the PD when she was a dispacther. Anita had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone. Anita you will be missed not only by me but by all.
Rest in peace Anita.

Q: How did you meet Anita?
A: I met Anita when our daughters were in elementary school, my daughter Kristie and her daughter Anita, affectionately called “Little Anita”. She was so friendly and she loved my baby son John. Every time she would see us at pick up time after school, she would scoop him up in her arms. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with the entire Carbone family at this sad time.
