Cassidy, John L., 61, died on Sunday, February 10, 2013. Mr. Cassidy was born and raised in Jersey City, lived in Bayonne for 15 years and has been a resident of Lyndhurst for the past 24 years. He was a Warehouse Manager for various companies. He delivered pizza for Mr. Bruno's, Lyndhurst from 2000 until 2007 and was loved by every dog in town. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Concern Committee. John is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen A. Cassidy (nee Mc Tigue), by his loving sons, Steven Cassidy & his wife, Maria Elena and Patrick John Cassidy & his wife, Ashli Rose, by his sweet granddaughter, Laila Rose Cassidy and mother- in-law, D. Joan Mc Tigue. John was a devoted caregiver to Dayna DeAnni, Victoria, Sophia, and Robert Lazzara. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 9AM then to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lyndhurst where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
