Wovna, Alice V., (nee Guido), 79, of Belleville, died on Saturday, August 12, 2023.  Mrs. Wovna was born in Belleville, lived in Kearny and Lyndhurst for most of her life and has been a resident of Belleville for the past 20 + years.  She worked for Verizon for many years before retiring. Alice was a very pleasant and likable person.  She would start up a conversation with anyone she came in contact with and she loved being with her family and friends.  She was also a member of the Tuesday Seniors Club and the AARP both of Belleville.   Alice is predeceased by her son, Richard Sensale in 2008 and her beloved husband, Leonard Wovna in 2018.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie Giardina & her husband, Joe and her dear grandson, Marco.  Also survived by her brother, Ron Guido & his wife, Gail and their family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Nazare Memorial Home Inc, 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 9:30AM until 1PM.  Funeral Service will begin at 1PM.  Private cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Alice's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at  www.mda.org.  You may express condolences to Aice's family by using our tribute wall.
