Obituary of Michael F Scurti

Scurti, Michael F., died on Friday, February 15, 2013, surrounded by his family and best friends. Michael was born in Jersey City on July 11, 1942 to Frank and Rose (Alaimo) Scurti. He later lived in Hoboken, Weehawken and was a current resident of Rutherford. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lee Ann (nee Pierro), by his loving children, Kimberly Scurti-Lowe, Esq. & her husband, Christopher Lowe, Esq. of Rutherford and Dr. Michael Scurti & his wife, Karen (Smetana) of Montville, by his beloved grandchildren, Sophia, Alec, Salvatore and Michael. He is also survived by his brother, Reverand Louis J. Scurti of Haledon. Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial offered by his brother, Father Scurti on Monday, February 18, 2013 11AM at St. Mary's Church in Rutherford. A memorial gathering at Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2-6 PM. In Lieu of flowers , the family requests that donations be made in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
